This exciting sixth form college is raising aspirations for young people aged 16-19 in East Manchester. Students will succeed in this caring atmosphere, enabling them to secure entry to universities, into top-level apprenticeships or into A-level entry jobs. The college opened in September 2013.

Rushbrook Primary Academy is a 3 form entry school for pupils aged 3 – 11 with a 60 place nursery. It is situated on the Gorton Education Village, Manchester and shares the same campus with partner schools Cedar Mount Academy and Melland High School.

Rushbrook was previously known as Gorton Mount which opened as an academy in September 2012 as part of the Bright Futures Educational Trust. The academy follows the ‘Montessori’ way of teaching, which fosters independence, confidence and curiosity in pupils.

Marton Primary Academy and Nursery is a school for pupils aged 3–11 situated in Marton, Blackpool.  The academy is extremely proud to be the first primary school in Blackpool to join Bright Futures Educational Trust in July 2015 and has a strong offering for Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as students with disabilities and special educational needs.

Melland High School has been consistently rated by Ofsted as outstanding in all aspects of it’s work. The academy is a purposeful, exciting and creative environment which meets the diverse special needs of 150 pupils between the ages of 11 and 19.  Melland High is designated as a National Support School and is a national college for SEN, cognition and learning.  The academy has strategic lead for SEND across BFET and is commissioned by the local authority to provide SEND support for high schools in central and east Manchester.
