Bright Futures Educational Trust (BFET) is celebrating today as students from its two Sixth Forms find out their A Level results.
Altrincham Girls’ Grammar School saw 11 students accepted by Oxford and Cambridge and an impressive 78 of the cohort achieving A* or A in all their subjects. 15 students achieved A* grades across all subjects.
An excellent set of results saw 70.1% of grades at A*-A, 92.7% of examinations graded at A*-B and 99.2% graded at A*-C. 100% of examination entries were graded at A*-E.
Stephanie Gill, Principal of Altrincham Grammar School for Girls said “I am incredibly proud of all of our students and delighted by their success. These results are a fitting testament to their hard work and determination. At a time of significant curriculum change, they also reflect the dedication of our teachers and the excellent support provided by all our staff. On behalf of all staff and governors, I wish our students the very best for their future.”
Connell Sixth Form meanwhile, is proud to have achieved an A’ level pass rate of 97%, with 75% of students achieving Grades A*-C and a BTEC pass rate of 100 % with 90% achieving high grades. Rates of student progress continue to improve and now rank within the top 10% in the country.
Jane Hopcroft, Principal said: “These results are tremendous and the students are a real credit to themselves and their families. Results like these do not come without a great deal of hard work and are a real testament to what can be achieved through continued effort and commitment.”
BFET CEO Dr John Stephens added: “We are delighted and proud to see these excellent outcomes. Such results are the product of real dedication and hard work from students who are aiming high. I would add my thanks to the staff at Connell and AGGS for their inspiring teaching – and to the students’ families who have supported them.”
