AGGS students spell it out

Students from AGGS recently competed in the national finals of the Spelling and Translation Bee competitions, with four pupils gaining fantastic results.

These national competitions welcome tens of thousands of competitors who competed in school and regional competitions throughout the year. The finals would have taken place earlier last year but were postponed following lockdowns.

A huge congratulations go to Rameen who achieved 4th place in the German finals of the Spelling Bee. This is an incredible achievement – nationally there were over 30,000 competitors across the French, German and Spanish competitions.

Another massive well done to Anny who won the translation competition, securing 1st place in German, whilst Antara and Diya achieved 2nd and 3rd place respectively in Spanish. Over 17,000 pupils competed across the three languages.

These are fantastic achievements. Bravo!
